Sprint Center
The $276 million Sprint Center is part of Downtown redevelopment efforts that will transform the area into a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week district featuring restaurants and retail activity.

Kansas City's new Power & Light District will create a vibrant, new nine-block neighborhood in the heart of downtown Kansas City when it opens in spring 2008.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Expansion
The new $200 million, Steven Holl-designed Bloch Building at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is a world-class addition to one of the country's premier general art museums.
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
Designed by world-renowned architect, Moshe Safdie, the $405 million Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will sit on a hill just south of the Kansas City Convention Center
Convention Center Grand Ballroom
Kansas City is now home to one of the ten largest convention center ballrooms in the country. The Grand Ballroom was unveiled on April 28, 2007.
College Basketball Experience
Further cementing the area's reputation as a hoops hotbed, Kansas City is now home to the state-of-the-art College Basketball Experience. The high-energy facility opened on Oct. 17, 2007.
Truman Sports Complex Renovations
The stadiums that are home to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals will both receive major overhauls by 2010.
