What began with a handful of galleries staying open late once a month, has evolved into one of Kansas City’s most popular new activities--and one of the largest art walks in the nation. First Fridays feature dozens of art galleries of the trendy Crossroads Arts District that stay open from 7 to 9 p.m. the first Friday of every month. Visitors can spend a night enjoying drinks or dining at an area restaurant, followed by a stroll through the galleries and shops of KC's cultural heart.
