For Immediate Release: July 09, 2009Contact: Derek Klaus , 816-691-3849 • Alan Carr, 816-691-3829
A combination rooftop pool and lounge, The Jones calls itself “a scene with a view” and is the newest addition to the downtown Power & Light District. The “ultra pool” is named after The Jones Store, whose flagship store stood at this location from 1992 to 1998. The 25,000-gallon pool can hold 767 people and offers panoramic views of the city skyline. It features a swim-up bar, 12 private cabanas, a concierge service and a nightly DJ. The Jones offers various levels of membership and welcomes the public (for a fee) on weekends. On Friday and Saturday nights, the pool is open until 3 a.m.
