While Kansas Citians have been celebrating an unprecedented downtown revitalization, filmmakers have been putting the finishing touches on a documentary that will shine a spotlight on our success for the rest of the world. Be among the very first to see "The Next American Dream," a documentary film showcasing KC as an example of the rebirth of American cities, on KCPT this Thursday, October 8, at 9 p.m.

Additional airdates are listed below. After premiering locally, the one-hour documentary will also be broadcast nationwide to millions of viewers on the PBS network. National airdates will be announced in the coming weeks.

The KCCVA is proud to join the Kansas City Area Development Council; the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri; the Downtown Council of Kansas City; the City of Kansas City, Missouri; and other community partners in this landmark project.
