HIGHLIGHTS:
- The waterpark's attractions include a million-gallon wave pool, an 800-foot lazy river and a family kayaking/canoeing area.
- Paradise Falls is the Midwest's largest family water playhouse with several interactive areas to explore. A gigantic bucket sits atop the playhouse, dumping 1,000 gallons of water onto its guests every five minutes.
- The newest of the waterpark's 18 water slides is Hurricane Falls, a family raft ride boasting a 680-foot flume.
- "Superpool" Coconut Cove features 20,000 square feet of fun, including floating characters, water obstacles and other challenging activities.
- Young guests will love Crocodile Isle, a "sprayground" just for small children and their parents.
- Visitors aged 21 years and older can gain admittance to Castaway Cove. The adult-only pool features a swim-up refreshment cabana, jacuzzi jets and a sun deck.

| HISTORY: Founded by Kansas City visionaries Lamar Hunt and Jack Steadman of Hunt Midwest Enterprises, Inc., Oceans of Fun opened in 1982 during the 10th season of neighboring Worlds of Fun amusement park. Cedar Fair, L.P., now Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, purchased both parks in 1995, and continues to make improvements to the destination resort each year. Notable expansions to Oceans of Fun over the years include the Hurricane Falls water slide, the Paradise Falls funhouse and the Worlds of Fun Village resort. |
