Official Contest Rules

November 1 - November 30, 2008

Eligibility
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Purchase will not improve chances of winning. Open only to individuals who are legal U.S. residents and 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and family members of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association (the “Sponsor”) and their respective subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible for this promotion. Employees and family members of any of the participating accommodations, events, attractions and other sponsors are also excluded. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter
Entrants may enter via the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association’s Contest Web site at www.WhyILoveKC.com (the “Web site”) and www.visitkc.com. Entrants may enter to win the prize as set forth below. Entrants must print or provide, as the case may be, their name, complete address and telephone number on the Web site. Incomplete entries are void. Limit one (1) entry per person (excess entries will be void). In case of dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Entries made in any fashion other than submitting the entry via the Web site or other promotional opportunities sponsored by the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association are void. The Sponsor and sponsor companies are not responsible for lost entries, interrupted or unavailable network servers or other failed telephone or computer connections and/or transmissions, miscommunications, technical failures, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, misdirected or undelivered mail, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic that may relate to the Web site or mailed entry. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible. Entries become the official property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Neither Sponsor nor its agents accept correspondence or telephone inquiries regarding the status of entries or the administration of the Contest.

By entering this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of Sponsor and its agents, whose decisions regarding all aspects of the Contest shall be final.

Prizes
The Sponsor will give away one prize package consisting of two tickets to Radio City Christmas Spectacular The Rockettes at Sprint Center and one overnight stay for two at the luxurious Hilton President Hotel. Estimated value $300. Prize package must be redeemed by eligibility date given by the prize sponsors.

The Sponsor will select a winner each month for the prize package. The prize package and value will change monthly. The first contest runs July 1 – August 30, 2008; and then monthly thereafter through December 31, 2009. The winners of the prize package shall be subject to any additional restrictions contained in the components of the package. The winners of the prize package are solely responsible for all transportation.

With respect to all prizes, Federal, state and local taxes, travel fees, surcharges, tips and any other travel-related fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution or cash redemption allowed except at discretion of the Sponsor. Prize is not transferable. Limit one prize per person or entry. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with a prize of equal or greater value, if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

Contest Prize Selection
Prize winner announcements will take place at the beginning of each month starting September 1 through January 1, 2009. Winners will be selected and judged by representatives of Sponsors from among all eligible entries received in accordance with these rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries submitted.

The winners will be notified by e-mail after the drawing. If the potential winner cannot be reached or does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, is found to be ineligible, or declines to accept the prize, the potential winner may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion, and in such case, Sponsor will select an alternate winner from remaining eligible entries. The potential winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Release of Liability which must be signed and returned to Sponsor within seven (7) days of receipt, or prize may be forfeited in Sponsor’s sole discretion and the potential winner disqualified and an alternate winner selected by Sponsor. In the event that more than one prospective winner is inadvertently named, a drawing will be held among all such winners to select the single winner.

Conditions of Participation
By entering, entrants release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates and any entity associated with the production, administration or fulfillment of the Contest, and their respective parent, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising/promotional agencies, and the respective employees, officers, directors and agents of the above entities, from and against any and all liability, claim or expense for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or relating to participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of a prize. By accepting prize, winner grants permission for the use of their name, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice and statements by Sponsor for advertising/publicity purposes without further compensation or permission, unless prohibited by law.

Each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Missouri, (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances, will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether the State of Missouri or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Missouri.

Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Contest or any Web site related to this Contest, acting in violation of these Official Rules or acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using any such method. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE RELATED TO THIS CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST MAY BE VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by users of any Web site related to this Contest, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in this Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of, any Web site related to this Contest or any technical failure or malfunction. Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading or copying materials from or use of any Web site related to this Contest. If, for any reason, this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, by reason of, infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, and select winners from entries received prior to action taken, as Sponsor, in its sole judgment, deems fair and in accordance with these Official Rules without notice to entrants. In the event that this Contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify this Contest, or to disqualify participants residing in any affected geographic areas. In such event, Sponsor shall not have any liability to any participants who are disqualified as a result of such an action.

IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, ITS RESPECTIVE ENTITIES OR RELATED COMPANIES, ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST, ANY PRIZES WON, YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE COMPANIES’ RESPECTIVE WEB SITES OR THE DOWNLOADING OR COPYING FROM AND/OR PRINTING OF ANY MATERIAL OBTAINED FROM SUCH WEB SITES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE COMPANIES’ RESPECTIVE WEB SITES IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Winner List
For the names of the prize winner, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope within ninety (90) days after the end of the Contest to: “Why I Love KC Contest,” Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association, 1100 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64105.

Privacy Notice
Information participants provide to the Sponsor will be used to communicate with participants regarding this Contest and otherwise as set forth in Sponsor’s privacy policy as set forth on the Web site. Each winner’s name, age, city and state of residence may be posted on the Web site.
