Free Evening of Artistic Performances
Bringing together opera, tango, fire and modern dance, some of Kansas City’s most innovative performance styles will collide on Saturday, Oct. 24, for WaterFire Kansas City 2009. Back for its third year, the moving, multi-sensory experience will feature intimate performances by Vesuvius Fire Tribe, Quixotic Performance Fusion, local operatic singers and KC Swing and Tango. The free event begins at dusk on Brush Creek and runs until midnight. A full schedule of the evening’s live performances is listed below.
