Wallace Park & Paola Aquatic Center

Purchased by the city in 1911, this beautiful park has often been mentioned as one of the most beautiful parks in Eastern Kansas. The park includes a family swimming pool, a children's playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, picnic areas and a shelter house. The Miami County Fairground is also located in Wallace Park. The Miami County Fair takes place the last full week in July. The annual Miami County Rotary Fair Parade always takes place on Wednesday evening at 7pm of the same week.
