Shuttle Service
MAX Bus Rapid Transit service provides fast, frequent service to downtown Kansas City. There are stops for Municipal Auditorium (Convention Center, 13th St. and Wyandotte St.) and Sprint Center (Arena, 12th St. and Grand Blvd.). The Max runs 7 days a week, 5:30 a.m. to midnight and arrives every 10-15 minutes. Cost is $1.50 per ride. A day pass costs $3, and can be purchased on the bus.
MAX Offers More Frequent Service For Big 12 Basketball Tournament
On March 10-13, MAX will offer more frequent service for the Big 12 Basketball Championships in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
The additional service will travel between the Country Club Plaza and the 3rd & Grand Park-and-Ride.
Wednesday and Thursday, March 10 and 11
- Increased service will be offered between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. MAX will serve Big 12 fans every 5 to 8 minutes during the midday MAX, every 5 to 10 minutes in the afternoon rush hour, and every 15 minutes at night.
Friday, March 12
- Increased service will be offered between 4 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. MAX will operate every 5 to 10 minutes in the afternoon rush hour, and every 15 minutes at night.
Saturday, March 13
- Increased service will be offered between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. During the day MAX will provide service every 5 to 10 minutes and every 15 minutes at night.
Please see the map for stops. Additional MAX service is only being offered north of 47th Street. Two downtown southbound MAX stops are affected by construction: The MAX stop at 11th & Grand is located west of Grand, and the MAX stop on 8th Street is located between McGee and Oak in the middle of the block
